Our Lakeview Lodge makes the perfect home base for your field trip!
With plenty of space to spread out, indoor and outdoor seating, and awesome views of Watts Bar Lake, it’s a fantastic spot for lunch, group activities, or just taking a break between adventures. Plus, the stage is great for games, performances, or end-of-day wrap-ups—making it a field trip hangout everyone will love.
Know Before You Go
- Field trips at Jellystone Park™ Watts Bar Lake are available from August through May, with holiday weekends like Memorial Day and Labor Day excluded. Our aquatic amenities usually open the first weekend in May and close after Labor Day, but with so many other activities and spaces to enjoy, your group is guaranteed a day full of fun anytime you visit!
- Field trips are offered Monday–Friday, but we’ve found Monday–Thursday is the sweet spot! Your students will have more room to roam, more time for activities, and you’ll enjoy a smoother, less hectic day.
